About AFB-MTb antibiogram Levofloxacin Test

A sample of infected tissue is used to perform this test to measure the Sensitivity of the infected tissue to Levofloxacin and also to detect Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis. This is done by the health practitioner when he suspects that a person has tuberculosis (TB). Since TB is a communicating disease it is easily transmitted through the air. So when an infected person sneezes, coughs or even speaks it is a risk for other people surrounding the patient. It can spread in places like home, schools and nursing homes.
