It is thus recommended by doctors that while working out, especially if you have high blood pressure, it is better that you reduce your weight training. Also, you can reduce the weights and increase repetitions until your blood pressure levels come under control in the long run.

Dark chocolate, in controlled amounts, is actually good in reducing high blood pressure. However, you should keep the amount within half an ounce of chocolate a day. This should help your high blood pressure without adding to weight gain or the addition of excessive sugar in your blood.
