Usage of certain feminine products such as deodorant sprays, soap, powders, douches etc can greatly increase the risk of UTI infection in men. These products can increase the irritation in the urethra region leading to an infection of the urinary tract. It is advised that a person keeps separate toiletries to avoid any infection.

Intercourse with multiple partners can lead to a possibility of urinary tract infection in men. It is advised that a person drinks a full glass of water immediately after intercourse as it flushes out the bacteria. The penis should be thoroughly washed after the intercourse. It has been seen that multiple sex partners have a direct correlation with UTI.
