Homeopathy believes in treating the root cause of the problem rather than its symptoms. For example, a person might be suffering from pimples, hair loss and increased weight due to digestive disorders. In such a scenario, homeopathy, instead of providing distinctive cure for the symptoms, will treat the root cause, i.e. the digestive problems the person is suffering from. This in return will heal the symptoms as well as provide the person with a proper solution for his digestive disorders.
Allopathy uses steroids and painkillers to treat arthritis and thus is an ineffective treatment method as compared to homeopathy.

Allopathy treats arthritis and other rheumatic pains by using Anti Rheumatic drugs known as DMARDS (Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs). These drugs are neither steroids nor pain killers.
