Those suffering from sleep apnea are at a higher risk of developing hypertension, mood swings, memory problems and heart disease.

There is a link between snoring and sexual dysfunction in a number of cases concerning middle-aged men. Middle Aged men with snoring habits have reported lower levels of libido and decreased sexual satisfaction even though all other aspects of their sexual and physiological health were intact.

A constant snoring habit that causes sleep apnea is known to put a strain on the heart and lead to all kinds of cardiovascular disorders. Some of these include a spike in the blood pressure, an increase in the size of the heart, as well as the risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Both men and women can be affected by this.
