Hair Transplant - Is It Worth It?

A hair transplant is a surgical procedure of treating baldness where healthy hair follicles are removed from one part and grafted to areas which are bald. There are several misconceptions surrounding this and few among them are unsatisfactory outcome and high risks. However none of them are true. This is a safe surgery which uses an anesthesia that diminishes chances of any risk. Uniform distribution of hair follicles is also achieved with this surgery.

It is commonly believed that hair transplant caters to those who are young. However it is not true. Age has nothing to with the surgery. Only the remaining hair at the back of your head will be used in the process of transplant and that is the only factor which determines the process.

This has been a myth for the longest time though recently, with more women opting for hair transplant, this has slowly been exploded. Hair transplant, like any other surgery, is equally beneficial for both men and women.

There are many who are skeptical fearing that the final outcome will be too showy and the hair that has been transplanted will look unnatural. However it is completely baseless as the result in most cases is extremely natural and a lot of hard work is put in the surgery to achieve that.
