Whether it be travelling by air or by road, it is best to not travel more than 5 to 6 hours at a stretch. Not only would the long travel be stressful for you, but it may also affect your unborn child. Whether you travel by air, rail or road, it is advisable that you should not travel for more than 5 to 6 hours at a continuous stretch. Also, within this time, do get up and take a walk or stretch regularly. This is required to ensure good blood circulation within the body.

The choice of seat, whether it faces towards or away from the direction of travel, completely depends on your comfort. If you feel more comfortable facing forward, you should try and get a seat that faces the direction of travel. Otherwise, there are no complications on your health or the health of your unborn child on the type of seat you choose.
