Homeopathic medications are wholly absorbed through the mucous membrane of the oral cavity. Food items such as mint, garlic, coffee and alcohol have a strong fragrance or taste and it is hence asked to avoid consumption immediately before taking the medicines. However, if you happen to brush your mouth and consume the medicines at least after half-an-hour of having the above mentioned food items. Hence these food articles are not banned, but proper caution and guidelines must be followed.

Tomatoes are highly acidic in nature and thus shoot up the level of uric acid in the blood.
