Information about Vapocap Junior Capsule

Vapocap capsules are the soft gelatinous capsules that contain aromatic ingredients that provide relief from various respiratory ailments. It contains: Camphor, Chlorothymol, Eucalyptol, Menthol, Terpineol.

Camphor applied externally acts as a rubefacient and mild analgesic. It is also a principal ingredient of many nasal decongestants for inhalation. Menthol is chiefly used to relieve symptoms of bronchitis, sinusitis. It is used as an inhalation with camphor and eucalyptus oil for application to the chest and nostrils. Eucalyptus oil has been used as an inhalation often with other volatile substances. It kills bacteria and eases breathing difficulties in people with croup, asthma and bronchitis. It is also used externally for chest congestion, to ease aches and pains, and as a deodorant. Terpineol has anti-infective properties. Chlorothymol is a multipurpose phenolic antiseptic. It finds special use in symptomatic relief from common cold.
Vapocap capsules are indicated for, Prompt relief of symptoms of common cold, sinusitis, pharyngitis and other conditions accompanied by congestion of the upper respiratory tract.

Direction of use:
The vapours of the capsule are to be inhaled and that is done by steam inhalation.
Add the capsule in hot boiling water or the steam nebulizer and inhale the vapours for 3 to 4 times in a day.

Use under medical supervision.

2.5 ml thrice daily. Better to consult doctor bcoz hyour son might required bronchodilator plus mucolytics syrup.

Pediasure can be used as a meal like milk you may add 6 scoops in a glass of water and give once a day. Junior Horlicks is not used alone to be added in milk etc.
