U may start now supplementary thin semi solids like suji kheer, khichadi, dal etc to start with any one item once in aday for 3-4 days gradually shifting to other items for about a month then different item twice in a day. Fuit may be given. Dairy/ cows milk can be given now. Continue breast feeding.

Your baby is not gaining wt properly. By the age of 6 months weaning must have started. Now continue your feed and start giving dairy milk, cereals like thin suji kheer, khichadi, mashed vegetables, dal adding oil or ghee etc. start with one item once or twice in a day to develop taste and then increase frequency and quantity gradually. There is no need of FM.

Why not start with complimentary feeds ?Give the child clear liquid diet ,thick liquid diet.It will only help improve his health and immunity.Consult me online for the detailed diet chart.
