Sebamed baby lotion has a pH of 5.5 and contains natural lipids. Conventional baby lotions have pH>7 and contain parabens & propylene glycol which can cause burning sensation and skin irritation. The sebamed baby lotion contains 7% natural lipids + lecithin + sorbitol ensures long lasting hydration. The sebamed baby lotion has easy spreadability without leaving an oily film.

No skin products to be used at least for another 10-15 days except unscented coconut oil. Coconut oil massage has shown to help in weight gain and moisture the skin apart from other benefits. Once the baby is taking a bath everyday, baby products may be used. Brands depend on an individual child's needs. You can use himalaya or sebamed, both are good.

It is difficult to tell how much this lotion is useful for the condition! I suppose whole body skin is not dry. If it is so consult either pediatrician or skin specialist. Otherwise you may use white petroleum jelly ie vasiline.

Hi. My daughter is 2 years old. She is having eczema prone skin. Can you pls suggest a baby lotion which is paraben free. I have tried cetaphil and sebamed. Bt still she is having dry skin. Also I have use almond oil and virgin coconut oil.

Hi Lybrate user! atopic dermatitis (ad), also known as atopic eczema, is a long-term type of inflammation of the skin (dermatitis).[2] it results in itchy, red, swollen, and cracked skin. You have to follow few precautions and instructions throughout until certain age (probably until 8-9 yrs) 1) limit your bath time to just 5-10 minutes 2) apply oil before bath 3) use only luke warm water for bathing and only mild (liquid cleansing lotions preferably 4) use doctor prescribed moisturiser at least 6-7 times a day 5) keep nails short 6) wear full sleeves loose cotton clothes 7) avoid contact with irritants and detergents 8) avoid dust and dry weather and mites special focus on to avoid dust, near to grass and flowering plants, extreme temperatures, coloured foods ,preservatives foods (like chips, chocolates, biscuits ,bread etc) ,brinjal, gongura, non veg, avoid perfumes, deodorants, bedbugs etc.
