Thanks for writing. As per my personal opinion goes many researches are being conducted on this topic. Bcaas (leucine in particular) is known to activate mtor, which in turn, increases insulin (up to 220%).
Many doctors does not recommend this drink in diabetes as chronically stimulating the pancreas to release this large amount of insulin can cause insulin resistance. Do contact us in case of futher query.

Bcaa are a type of amino acid. Amino acid is building block of protein. Bcaa are generally recommend for muscle building. However a normal protein supplement has a combination of bcaa and amino acid. But a specific supplement has more concentration of bcaa which is now days recommended for muscle building.

Whey Protein
