SBL Sabadilla 0/1 LM

Sabadilla is useful to treat acute conditions like fever especially hay fever. It works on the mucus membrane of the nose and the lachrymal glands (glands present in the eyes). It is made from the cevadilla seeds.

Following are the symptoms likely to be treated with this remedy

Eyes
Redness of eyes with watering of eyes
Eye lids are red and burning
Frontal pain, and blackness before eyes as if would faint

Nose
Running nose with violent sneezing
Copious, watery nasal discharge (coryza)
Chilliness, sensitive to cold

Fever
The chill stage predominates and there is extreme watering of eyes during fever
The patient is thirstless
Head and face are hot, hands and feet are cold

Throat
Soreness of throat worse from cold air
Sensation as if a lump is present in the throat
Empty swallowing is very painful

Dose- As prescribed by the physician. Can be taken with allopathic medicines.

Precautions
Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing
