SBL Rhus Toxicodendron Mother Tincture Q

Rhus Tox is a homeopathic medicine used for rheumatic conditions and for fever. The symptoms are mostly related to change in climate and muscular pains, overexertion. The drug is made from the Poison ivy plant.

Extremities

The complaints are mainly due to overlifting, overstretching, getting wet, cold damp weather.
The joints are painful and hot sensation as if the tendons have been scrapped from the bones.
Pain spreads from the nape of neck, to back, there is stiffness of back which is better by moving around or lying on hard surface. The pain also extends to the extremities
Numbness and tingling sensation after overwork. Tingling of the finger tips with loss of power in forearm and fingers
Tenderness in the knee joint
Sciatica which is worse in the cold damp weather and especially in the night
All pains are worse on exposure to cold air, wet weather and rest. Pains better by moving around

Fever

Typhoid like fever with loose stools and dry and brown tongue
Intermitted fever with chills, dry cough and restlessness
Urticaria with intense itching
Septicaemia with coldness as if cold water was poured on the body

Dose- As prescribed by physician. Can be taken with allopathic medicines.

Precautions

Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
