Rheum is a homeopathic medicine that is of great use for children who are very cranky and has difficult dentition with loose motions. It is made from the rhubarb plant.

The overall picture of the child is as follows

The child is very impatient and cranky, the child wants many things and cries for the same
The child sweats profusely on the scalp. Cold sweat on the face and especially near the nose and mouth
Excessive salivation. Difficult teething with loose motions. Restlessness and irritable n the breath is very sour smelling
Colicky pain in the abdomen. The stool smells sour, especially during dentition.
Urging to urinate before passing stools
Pain and burning in anus associated with shivering
The whole child smells sour
Stools smell sour

Dose- As prescribed by the physician. Can be taken with allopathic medicines.

Precautions
Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
