PIMPLEX TABLETS

Acne (pimples) is a skin problem that occurs when oil and dead skin cells block the pores on the skin. Pimples usually pop up on the face, neck, back, chest, and shoulders. It isn t a serious health risk but severe acne can cause permanent scars.

The exact cause of acne is not known, but hormones called androgens can play a role. Androgens make the skin s oil glands get larger and make more sebum. Androgens increase in both boys and girls during puberty, although can occur in any age group.

Pimples can range from few red spots (mild form) to bigger, solid, red painful lumps or cysts (severe form). When acne gets infected, the result can be swelling, redness, and pus.

Adults: 2 tablets 4-6 times daily

Children: Half of the adult s dose

or as prescribed by the physician
