Calotropis Gigantea or Madar Bark as it is known has been widely used in the treatment of syphilis, a sexually transmitted disease after treating it previously with drugs containing mercury. Its other uses include-

Shown success in the treatment of leprosy, tuberculosis, elephantiasis, pneumonia etc.
Helps to increase sweating and circulation in the skin.
In the treatment of syphilis, where mercury was used without any good results , this will help to heal the ulcers and improve the cure.

Precautions:
