Information about Pyosan Gum Paint

Pyosan gum paint is a topical solution which contains antiseptic agents combined with tanning agents. It is applied locally on gums in severe bacterial infections and inflammatory conditions.

It contains potassium iodide and Iodine that acts as antiseptic and anti-infective that kills bacteria. Tannic acid acts as astringent that causes contraction and prevents bleeding of the soft tissues making them firm. Menthol acts as local analgesic (relieves pain) and gives sensation of coolness which gives some relief from the pain. Camphor acts as mild analgesic, which provides relief from pain.Thymol acts as a antiseptic and antibacterial property, thus reducing oral infections.

It is indicated in the treatment of painful gum disorders, inflamed and bleeding gums, teething pain and irritation, stomatitis (inflammation of the mucous lining of the mouth).

Directions for use:

Apply the gum paint with your finger or cotton applicator on the gums and massage, after brushing and do not rinse or eat for at least 10 minutes. This helps the gum paint to get absorbed in the gums and helps in healing of the gums and they become more firm.

Use under medical supervision.

You may apply a gum paint. Two to three times daily for 15 days .and reduce swelling in gum first. You may use a sensitivity paste. Apply two to three times daily on the affected part. If sensitivity doesn't reduce. kindly visit a dentist nearby.
