Nestle NAN Pro 1 contains a combined of problend, immunonutrients, Essentials fatty acids and bifidogenic nutrients that help support immunity along with growth and development. It is a spray dried infant formula for healthy infants from birth when they are not breastfed.

Role of key ingredients:-
PreBlend: A protein blend containing whey protein. Whey proteins are easy to digest. The protein content is suitably modified to reduce the overload on infant s kidneys.
Immunonutrients: Nutrients like nucleotides, zinc, selenium, vitamin A and C support the immune system. Bifidogenic: Bifidobacteria are predominant in the gut of infant fed on breast milk. NAN Pro 1 contains a combination of nutrients that support the growth of bifidobacteria. A healthy gut flora helps in supporting the immune system.
LA/ALA: Linoleic acid (omega 6 fatty acid and Alpha linolenic acid (omega 3 FA) are precursors of arachidonic acid and Docosahexaenoic acid which are important for defence system. ALA, iron and iodine helps in brain development. Vitamin A contributes to healthy vision.

Breast milk is the best milk for an infant. Suckling the baby with peace of mind is the only solution for increasing milk production. You must drink good amount of water and take nutritious diet. If it's not at all possible to feed you can give nan 1.

My baby is 19 days old, my breast milk is less so doctor suggested to give nestle nan pro every two hours 30 ml. After giving that am giving breast milk but still she is feeling hungry. How frequently we can give formula milk. Please advice.

You can give the milk every 1 hour or 1 and half hour. Don't give too frequently. Also keep habit of make the baby burp by taking it on shoulder. Also you can take Homoeopathic Medicine Alfalfa Q to improve breast milk. You can consult me at lybrate for Homoeopathic treatment.

Hello, Exclusive breastfeeding is desirable for upto 6 months. However if not possible you may use formula feed (both lactogen and nan are good) z.

As she is already 6 month old you can start with weaning ,introduce liquids like rice water, dal water initially 2 times a day to check how she tolerates the feed and gradually decrease the intake of formula feeds. Thanks.
