Information about Myloxin-D Spray

Myolaxin-D spray (applied to the skin) is used to relieve pain associated with recent muscle or joint injuries such as sprains, strains, or sports injuries. It also relieves pain from rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis etc.

Role of key ingredients:
1. Diclofenac, which is used to treat acute muscular pain. Diclofenac belongs to the class of medications known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by reducing pain, swelling, and inflammation by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins.
2. Eucalyptus oil is used as a flavoring agent
3. Methyl Salicylate reduces inflammation
4. Menthol soothes and reduces pain
5. Capsaicin is a counter irritant which stimulates the release of a compound involved in communicating pain between the nerves in the spinal cord and other parts of the body thus decreases the intensity of pain signals in the body.

Directions of use:
Gently massage Myolaxin D spray into the skin of the affected area. Allow the medicine to dry for at least 10 minutes before you wear clothes or gloves over the treated area.
Wash your hands immediately after using cream, unless your hands are part of the treated area
Do not wrap, bandage, or apply heat to the treated area.

Most probably you have decreased mouth opening due to sub mucous fibrosis. We usually try to treat it conservatively with mouth opening exercises and Tab SM Fibro, which contains lycopene, for 6-12 months. If not working then we may consider surgery. Some people also try hyaluronic acid injection, but I don't have any experience with the same. If only submucosal fibrosis is present and no trismus is present, then surgery entails cutting the mucosa and inserting nasolabial flaps. If trismus is present due to fibrosis of muscle, then coronoidectomy would be needed aswell.
