The basic principle of managing good weight is to eat sensibly and exercise well or be very physically active.
All the shortcuts like pills or medicines will give a little fat mobilisation but that's hardly 3 to 4%. It majorly gives you muscle loss and bone loss. Remember any method that gives you drastic weight loss, that is if it does, is purely muscle loss. Hence, once you discontinue it, you gain back all the weight and much more.
So, it may be added, but if your diet and exercise is not good, it's of no much benefit.
