Mr. Lybrate user, instead of taking medicinal supplements, or supplements from outside, its always better to take in food form, if its problem with your less hunger,& quantity of food, you try to take, fruits, milk, veg salads, green leafy juices, carrots in raw form or juices, etc. I do not know the contents of the syrup, but anything for long time is not good. If its herbal, then to some extent its ok, but inspite of that syrup, since long, no improvrmrnt in your appetite, then, there will be no use by continuing, & think for alternative.
