Gerilax Syrup

Gerilax Syrup contains Sorbitol as main active ingredient.

Role of main active ingredient:
Sorbitol is also known as Ora Sweet SF, PCCA Sweet-SF, PCCA Plus, artificial sweetener and food additive. It is used as a non-stimulant laxative via an oral suspension or enema in large concentrations. Sorbitol exerts its laxative effect by drawing water into the large intestine, thereby stimulates bowel movements, can be taken on occasion to relieve constipation and regulate bowel movements of body of patient.

Gerilax Syrup is used for the treatment of constipation as it acts as laxative.
