According to your description you have andeoenic alopecia/male pattern baldness which is genetic or hereditary. If there is history in your family (maternal/paternal side) you will also have baldness. Even if no history you could be the first person in the family to start with it. Sorry to say. The treatments you are on are good but they will only maintain whatever hair you have now. And as long as ypu are on it ypu will find relief but once off medications within one month you may again start experiencing faster hair loss. Permanent solutions is hair transplant but only if you are in a later stage of baldness.

You may be suffering from alopecia areata. This is an autoimmune condition which happens due to the attack of lymphocytes on the hair roots which results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy of the body including eyebrows and beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration till the time the autoimmunity comes down. If not treated, the bald patches can increase to affect large areas. If it is treated early complete hair growth always happens.
