Folica hair tincture is a medication that contains Benzyl nicotinate, Salicylic Acid, and Vitamin K as active ingredients present. It performs its action by increasing the growth of prothrombin in the liver. Benzyl Nicotinate present in this medication apparently increases skin oxygenation (raise the level of oxygen in the skin) which could aid healing. It also controls hair fall and promotes hair growth.
Salicylic Acid present in Folica hair tincture makes skin cells shed more rapidly, promoting the growth of new cells. Vitamin K has a vascular effect and can influence bruising. Folica hair tincture is beneficial in Alopecia Areata (round hairless patches on the scalp), Alopecia Pityrodes ( loss of hair, of the body as well as of the scalp), Alopecia Senilis (loss of hair caused by aging) & Symptomatic hair loss after infectious diseases, Hair damage caused by chemicals.
Folica hair tincture helps to prevent skin redness, dermatoses, dandruff, acne, calluses, and blood clot problems. It treats obstructive jaundice, dietary deficiency, and skin diseases.
Direction for use:
Unless otherwise directed, apply the tincture to the scalp or other affected skin part once daily in the beginning and thrice a week subsequently.
