Alumen is indicated for constipation, dry mouth, dizziness, roaring in the ears and wheezing. Alumina is a homeopathic remedy often used to treat patients suffering with constipation accompanied by great dryness of mucus membranes including the throat.
Being constipated means your bowel movements are difficult or happen less often than normal. Almost everyone has it at some point in life, and it s usually not serious. Still, it feels much better when your system is back on track.
The normal length of time between bowel movements varies widely from person to person. Some people have bowel movements three times a day. Others have them only once or twice a week.
Going longer than three or more days without one bowel movement is usually too long. After three days, the stool or feces become harder and tougher to pass.
Other indications for its use include great heaviness of the lower limbs, numbness of the heels, needing to strain to pass a stool, weakness and fatigue. Potatoes disagree with the patient. Can be worse in the morning and in a warm room and better in open air, from cold washing and in damp weather.
