BMD Plus Tablet contains Calcitriol, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, and Phosphorus.

Role of key ingredients:
Calcitriol is a form of vitamin D used to treat and prevent calcium deficiency. It enables the body to absorb more calcium and helps in bone mineralization.
Calcium helps in the development and strengthening of bones.
Magnesium is used to treat low levels of magnesium in the body which leads to osteoporosis and other bone disorders.

My age is 67+ recently I under went bmd test my T score is _2. 1 and Z score in bmd is _0. 6 what does it signify this _2. 1is also in L4 region only.in L1 and other regions such as L2, L1-L2 etc it is from _1. 0 to 1.7.i am a female. Diabetic.

Is there any other alternate of BMD tablets for calcium, to take with MgD3 60k. There is frequent severe pain in my big toe and surrounding bones.

Are you sure pain is because of calcium deficiency. If not pl get it checked in lab first. Also do an X-Ray of foot (both AP and Lateral view) to find out the cause.

My Hab1c is always around 7.in my recent Bmd test my T score is - 2.1 and Z score in bmd test is- .6 andbmd values of L4is 0.953g/cm2 what does it signify. Am ihavng osteopenia or not. My Hab 1c in all these twelve years has never gone beyond 7.3 even during festival season like diwali etc.

You need to improve the tone of the muscles in a rhythmical manner. If you do that with proper diet restriction nothing will happen to you. Body pain is there after gym activity due to tiredness and you need to consume good protein and iron diet in your body which will help you to break the fatigue and body pain. You have to reduce the weight by walking minimum 3-4 kms per day. Slowly reduce the weight and slowly avoid adding salt in the diet which will help you to prevent water retention in the body. Excess salt in general leads to water in the body which might be the reason for you legs to pain as the leg will automatically become oedematous. And also you consult on physiotherapist.

I went for BMD test & the T-Score is -2 (osteopenia) I have been asked to take OXACEPROL (TRUCEPROL_OD) 600 mg --one in the afternoon & GEMITROL--one in the morning. For 2 months. Is it safe?

Dear sir. Oxacepral is an anti inflammatory drug, and second one Gemitrol is calcium supplement. But calcium supplement is effective only with Magnesium supplement. And also noted that you have gout. So it gives good result. Please speak to your doc. My suggestion s Cal+vit D+Magnesium (Combined) drug will give you the best result. Thanks.
