How to overcome asthma while giving asthalin 2.5 ml respulses through nebuliser every 4 hours along with other medicine of asthma,inhaler, acidity and pain killer ? There is relief for about 3-4 hours after taking nebuliser but then again asthma starts.

My daughter is 8 month old an 20 days back she got viral bronchiolus and was given antiflu, advent forte, rinifol,brozeet syrup n it got cured but now again she has got cold n cough with running nose, coughing,wheezing cough? Is this same wat she has 20 days back or it can be different? Dr. has prescribed me asthalin ls syrup, moxikind cv drops, alex junior ,are this medicines are fine or sud I take something else and if yes than what shoud I take? Should I nebulizer her and if yes wat medicine should I put?

Ni do not put her on nebuliser. Otherwise she will adapt herself to take nebuliser every time. That is not gud for her in long terms. So give her medicine which was prescribed by Dr. Else if uhh take homoepathic med fr her that will be more beneficial fr her she will not be attacked by same disease again n again and root cause of her disease will be cured. I am P.K.Banerji 73yrs, male with moderate hypertension under control with diuretics & telmesartan, symptomatic bifascicular bloc under dual chamber PPM. Non diabetic & was a heavy smoker - stopped more than 10 yrs back . Now having COPD with occasional acute exacerbations- under nebuliser 2 to 3 times/ day & MDI inhalation of salmetorol & fluticasone + bronchodialators. I need your suggestions for better effort tolerance.

Thanks for your query. First be sure that your symptoms are not due to heart problem. If it is COPD in acute exacerbation not controlled on enough doses of bronchodilators, you may be needing a short course 7-10 days of oral steroid. Get a arterial blood gas analysis done. If carbon dioxide is rising, you may require non invasive ventilation like tiotropium. Once stable add inhaler tiotropium once daily to your medication. Best wishes.

If cup of tea in hand or empty hand is shaking many times mild tremors in my body a month experienced, being ashtama take regular inhaler Seroflow 250. Pls advice. Thanking you in anticipation.

Tremors occur due to certain anti asthma syrup or tablets. Inhalers or nebuliser may also cause. Proper dose inhalers are least tremor triggers. Also rule out thyroid disease.

My mother has asthama problem since quute some years she is 84 recently she has difficulty breathing specially walking short distances. Now she is uneasy lying on back wants to be seated in 5 min interval. She has not been on any drug or steriods. Just started her on asthalin using nebuliser. Also she keeps clearing throat if lying on back. What shouldd I give her so she get easy and can comfortably breathe lying on back. Does not need to clear throat.
