Cough Reliever

FOR CHILDREN

An effective formula which: Soothes throat and aids expectoration. For dry, spasmodic, allergic, congestive cough of Bronchitis and Asthma. Checks associated symptoms of headache, Rhinitis and fever.
Composition: Bryonia alba 3x, Ipecacuanha 3x, Antimonium tart. 6x, Phosphorus 6x, Drosera rotundifolia , Justicia adhatoda 2x.
Dosage:
Infants (0-1 years): 1 tablet thrice a day.
Toddlers (1-3 years): 2 tablet thrice a day.
Children (Above 3 years): 3 tablet thrice a day.
Presentation: 25gms/250 tablets.

Use under medical supervision.

Hi, my 5&1/2 month old one has not done poo since last 8 days and is irritated since last two days. I have given him colic aid but looks like of no help. His stomach looks tight. As per my Pediatrics advise I started giving him boiled mashed fruit since last 15 days once daily. Please advise as what needs to be done. Thanks!

Your child needs more fluids and roughage in his diet. Ripe papaya/ stew / mashed boiled spinach to be introduced. Now give Nulax 2.5 ml daily for 3 days

Keep the child well hydrated by adequate replacement of lost fluid by WHO recommended ORS and routine home diet with little added salt.If child is taking breast feeds continue with that. And wait patiently unless he is dehydrated( In that case visit hospital he might need IV fluids). It takes time to get well.Hope this helps

What is the pediatric dose of calciclorofal 60k sachet and in which age can give 60k sachet.

The approximate daily dose of vit. D for children between is 600 i.u. Since vit d is fat soluble vitamin and gets stored in body. Proper dosage is to be decided by child specialist after proper examination. Normally children are given vit d in the form of oral drops. Sachets of 60,000 iu are given in adults after finding vit d levels in the blood. And only if found necessary.
