RAUWOLFIA SERPENTINA MOTHER TINCTURE

Blood pressure (BP) is the pressure exerted by circulating blood upon the walls of blood vessels .

Blood pressure is usually expressed in terms of the systolic (maximum) pressure over diastolic (minimum) pressure and is measured in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg ).

It is one of the vital signs along with respiratory rate , heart rate , oxygen saturation , and body temperature . Normal resting blood pressure in an adult is approximately 120/80 mm Hg.

Rauwolfia Serpentina is a chief remedy for nasal congestion and high blood pressure.

Rauwolfia is a safe and effective treatment for hypertension when used in appropriate low doses. It has marked action on central nervous system with violent symptoms.

It is useful in fever with nasal congestion during puerperium. Rauwolfia Serpentina also helps in reducing high blood pressure when there are no atheromatous changes in the blood vessels. It also helps calming the mind and inducing sleep, hence acts as a sedative.

Dose- 15 drops of Ginseng mother tincture in half a cup of normal water twice a day until symptoms disappear for 3 months or as prescribed by physician. Can be taken with other allopathic medicines.

Precautions

Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
