Nickel is basically a mineral. A number of food items such as nuts, dried beans and peas, soybeans, grains, and chocolate consist of nickel. The human body requires nickel but in very small amount. Nickel is used for increasing iron amalgamation, preventing iron-poor blood (anaemia), and for treating the weak bones (osteoporosis). Nickel is a part of multivitamins as well. Nickel helps the human body to absorb the amount of iron which a human body requires. Nickel is present in DNA and RNA as well which means that it is found in every cell of the human body.
