About Tacalsis 4Mcg Ointment

Tacalsis 4Mcg Ointment is a vitamin compound used in the treatment of plaque psoriasis, which is one of the most common types of psoriasis. When a person is affected by psoriasis, they develop scaly red patches on their skin, mostly in and around their knees, elbows, scalp and lower back. As psoriasis is caused due to over-multiplication of cells, Tacalsis 4Mcg Ointment works in treating this condition by slowing down the production of skin cells, which in turn reduces the scaly, inflamed patches of skin.

Tacalsis 4Mcg Ointment is generally administered as topical ointment or lotion, which is supposed to be applied to the affected area once a day, generally before going to bed.

Tacalsis 4Mcg Ointment is not supposed to be used in quantities of more than 10 g per day. As Tacalsis 4Mcg Ointment is directly absorbed the skin, using it in quantities greater than prescribed can have harmful effects.
