Norepinephrine is used to treat conditions of low blood pressure . This generally occurs following certain life-threatening medical conditions or after surgical procedures. It is used during Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.

Interaction with Medicine
This medication is inadvisable to be used in combination with Volatile halogen anaesthetics, Imipramine antidepressants, Serotoninergic-adrenergic antidepressants.
Precaution is also required when it is used in combinations with Non-selective MAO inhibitors, Selective MAO-A inhibitors.
