About Nervijen -P Capsule

Nervijen -P Capsule is a combination drug consisting of Benfotiamine, Folic acid, Methylcobalamin, Pregabalin and vitamin B6 or Pyridoxine. It is a prescription medicine which is used in case of neuropathic pain.

The pain which arises as a result of a damaged or compressed nerve is relieved effectively by the application of Nervijen -P Capsule. It strengthens the nerve and helps us to overcome the pain due to the same.

Benfotiamine and Folic acid are responsible for providing essential nutrients for the development of nerves. Two different forms of vitamin B i.e Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine facilitates an enhanced myelin formation. Myelin is well-known for its role of protecting the nerve fibres.

It also helps in the rejuvenation of the damaged nerve cells. Pregabalin present in Nervijen -P Capsule is an alpha 2 delta ligand modulates calcium channel activities in the nerve cells, thereby minimising the pain. These ingredients collectively help to relieve the neuropathic pain.

Nervijen -P Capsule cures neuropathic pain. It raises tissue and blood levels of thiamine, which helps to protect the body from any medical conditions arising from low levels of vitamin such as heart and nerve disorders. In some places, it treats diabetic neuropathy.

Nervijen -P Capsule has been seen that this medication may trigger an upset stomach and a decrease in blood pressure. Talk it out with your doctor to see what dosage of Nervijen -P Capsule is right for your current medical condition.

    How does this medication work?

This medicine is multivitamin composition, so works via multiple mechanisms. Benfotiamine is a lipid-based synthetic analogue of Thymine or Vitamin B1 with greater bioavailability than other Thiamine salts. It is dephosphorylated by Ecto-alkaline phosphatases to S-benzoyl thiamine in the intestinal mucosa, which is then hydrolyzed to thiamine by liver thioesterases. Folic Acid helps in the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine which are necessary for the production of blood and its component. Methylcobalamin acts as a cofactor for enzyme methionine synthase, which transfers methyl groups for the regeneration of methionine from homocysteine. In anaemia, it increases blood cell production by promoting nucleic acid synthesis in the bone marrow and by promoting maturation and division of erythrocytes. Pregabalin is a GABA analogue and binds to the voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system. This causes a reduced release of neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, substance P thus slowing down nerve signals. Altogether, they work and alleviates the symptoms.
