About Mofloren Bf Eye Drop

Mofloren Bf Eye Drop is a medicine prescribed for treating bacterial infections in the eyes. It provides a complete relief from the infection related symptoms which may include pain, itching, discomfort as well as irritation. It has applications in relieving the post-operative pain, inflammation and redness in the eyes.

Mofloren Bf Eye Drop consists of a combination of two ingredients which are Bromfenac and Moxifloxacin. Bromfenac is a type of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug which blocks the action of the enzyme cyclo-oxygenase. This enzyme is responsible for production of certain chemicals like prostaglandins which cause pain and inflammation.

Thus, it facilitates healing in the post-operative phase of cataract surgery and provides relief from the related pain and swelling. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic inhibiting the action of bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase. This enzyme is responsible for flourishing the bacterial growth. Hence, the antibiotic prevents infection in the eye by killing bacteria or stopping its growth.

Mofloren Bf Eye Drop should be used under the recommendation of a doctor in a prescribed dosage for a prescribed duration of time. The dosage depends upon the severity of the infection. The use of eye drops may be associated with certain side effects including irritation in eyes, pain and discomfort in the eye, increased sensitivity of eyes towards light etc.
