This medicine is contraindicated in patients who have suffered or are suffering from Reye’s syndrome, closed-angle glaucoma, gastrointestinal obstruction, Prostatic hyperplasia and hypersensitivity to this drug. Apart from drowsiness, which is the most frequent and common side effect of the drug, other possible side effects like blurred vision, nervousness, upset stomach, headache, dryness of mouth, nose, and throat can also manifest.
