This test is done when a person’s medical history suggests Giardiasis. Giardiasis is an illness that is caused because of an infection from Giardia Lamblia Parasite. This parasite is also known as Giardia intestinalis. One contracts this illness when he drinks water that is contaminated with this parasite.
