Alpha Feto Protein (Afp), Csf Test in Faridabad

Alpha Fetoprotein test is performed on a sample of csf (cerebro-spinal fluid) to measure levels of Alpha Fetoprotein in csf (cerebro-spinal fluid).It is performed to detect CNS Tumors, Germinoma and meningeal carcinomatosis. Also in evaluating germ-cell tumors, including testicular cancer metastatic to the CNS in conjunction with beta-human chorionic gonadotropin measurement. This test is performed using Quantitative Chemiluminescent immunoassay. Chemiluminescent immunoassay is a variation of the standard enzyme immunoassay (EIA), which is a biochemical technique used in immunology. They can also be used as diagnostic tools in medicine, as well as being in used in several other different industries for various applications.
