Yes menstrual cups are best to use. But in virgin or unmarried girls there are chances of hymen breakage. So be careful. Also to sterilize you can use any antiseptic hand wash to clean it. Use a proper lubrication while inserting. And also learn how to insert it.

Is menstrual cup safe to use? I am using menstrual cup till 1 year but recently my doctor told not to use cup bcoz anything which is inserted inside can lead to infection and the periods remains inside vagina for the time the cup is inside and cup is reusable so it also invites bacteria. Everything in life has side effects and effects are to be compared with side effects to decide in favor or against. If cup is maintained properly and hands washed properly and cup changed as advised then no to minimal chance of infection.

Hello- While tampons and pads are the most mainstream feminine hygiene products, its good to use menstrual cup.
