Hello lybrate-user precautionary if you do not have fluorosis then 3m clinpro 5000 1.1% toothpaste (its expensive than the other tooth paste availabe in the market) or enafix toothpaste. Reduces risk for cavity and make enamel strong also 1. Correct brushing technique 2.flossing daily 3. Use of mouthwash like chlorohexidine, hydrogen peroxide, or betadine or salt water rinses 4.use of interdental brushes 5. Gum paints like stolin. Metrohex plus gel.

I had visited dentist for scaling as my teeth are yellow. I had lot of pain once he started. He stopped the process and told me to apply senquel f as my teeth are very sensitive. But after a month also there was pain while scaling and could not be done. Doctor has recommended to continue applying senquel f for more time. What else can I do for sensitivity?

Hii lybrate-user, if you are having severe sensitivity use thermoseal ra toothpaste with ultrasoft tooth brush for a month. Before brushing, apply the toothpaste on all the teeth, leave it from 5-10 min and thn brush. Do it twice a day morning n night. Avoid having too hot or too cold food. Maintain good oral hygiene.
