Sebamed baby lotion has a pH of 5.5 and contains natural lipids. Conventional baby lotions have pH>7 and contain parabens & propylene glycol which can cause burning sensation and skin irritation. The sebamed baby lotion contains 7% natural lipids + lecithin + sorbitol ensures long lasting hydration. The sebamed baby lotion has easy spreadability without leaving an oily film.

It is difficult to tell how much this lotion is useful for the condition! I suppose whole body skin is not dry. If it is so consult either pediatrician or skin specialist. Otherwise you may use white petroleum jelly ie vasiline.

Can I use aveeno baby product for my 15 days old baby. It is suitable for indian baby skin. Can you suggest me which baby brand is suitable for indian baby skin. J and j, or cetaphil, himalaya, sebamed, or aveeno these five products of my choice. Can you please suggest me which one is good.

Hi Lybrate user! atopic dermatitis (ad), also known as atopic eczema, is a long-term type of inflammation of the skin (dermatitis).[2] it results in itchy, red, swollen, and cracked skin. You have to follow few precautions and instructions throughout until certain age (probably until 8-9 yrs) 1) limit your bath time to just 5-10 minutes 2) apply oil before bath 3) use only luke warm water for bathing and only mild (liquid cleansing lotions preferably 4) use doctor prescribed moisturiser at least 6-7 times a day 5) keep nails short 6) wear full sleeves loose cotton clothes 7) avoid contact with irritants and detergents 8) avoid dust and dry weather and mites special focus on to avoid dust, near to grass and flowering plants, extreme temperatures, coloured foods ,preservatives foods (like chips, chocolates, biscuits ,bread etc) ,brinjal, gongura, non veg, avoid perfumes, deodorants, bedbugs etc.

External applications will not help. Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. These factors can trigger or aggravate acne: Hormones, Certain medications, Diet, Stress. To prevent pimples, eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided. Don't peal pimples, as they tend to leave scars. Stop using soap on face. Instead take a spoon of milk, add a pinch of turmeric (haldi). Mix n apply on face with the help of cotton. Leave for a few minutes then wash off. It?s a good cleanser. If skin is dry then apply moisturizer like coconut oil. For swollen pimples, gently apply ice for a minute or so. Just don't keep the ice on so long that it irritates your skin. Tea tree oil can kill bacteria. Some people use it to treat minor skin irritations, including acne. There isn't much research on how effective it is, but tea tree oil is safe to put directly on your skin in a diluted form. Try it on a small area first to make sure you don't have an allergic reaction. Simple Honey Mask--Before applying this mask, rinse your face with warm water to open up pores. Then apply honey and leave it on the skin for 30 minutes. Rinse the honey off with warm water; then rinse again with cold water to close the pores. Yeast and Yogurt Mask for Oily Skin--Oily skin is prone to acne, and this home remedy can reduce excess oil and help clear acne. To make the mask, combine 1 teaspoon of brewer's yeast with a little plain yogurt to create a thin mixture. Apply it thoroughly to all the oily areas and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water; then use cold water to close the pores. Homeopathy is a very effective for this problem n has very encouraging results. For more details consult online

Take mahatikta kshyam, 3 tsf in half a glass of warm water before meals, twice a day. Take panchatikta ghrita guggal tabs, 2 tabs, twice a day after meals with khadirarishta, 3 tsf in half a glass of warm water after meals. Apply 777 oil over the lesions. Consult some good ayurveda physician for panchakarma. Stop dairy products completely. Stop intake of sugar and minimize intake of salt in your diet. Continue the regime for 2 months. Stay in touch.
