Ricinus Communis or the castor oil plant has great effects on Gastrointestinal tract. It works as a laxative and also to increase the milk production in nursing women.

Stomach
Burning in stomach with nausea and profuse vomiting
Mouth is dry, and the patient is thirsty
Rumbling sensation in the abdomen with contraction of the recti muscles
Rice water stools with cramps in the stomach and chilliness
Burning in the stomach with sensitivity in the pit of the stomach
Fever and weight loss with loose stools which are greenish, slimy and bloody

It can be given frequently in the right dose to lactating mothers for increasing the flow of milk

Precautions
Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
