Salicylix SF 12 percent cream contains 12 percent Designed to control the development of free radicals in the eyes salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic medication that aids the removal of the external layer of the skin and increases skin hydration. It also acts as an antiseptic by virtue of its action against bacteria and fungi.
Salicylix SF 12 percent cream is useful for treating warts and corns as it can soften the hardened external skin layer. The ointment also benefits those suffering from dandruff and acne as it has antibacterial and antifungal properties.

I have a corn on the sole of my foot. I went to a local dermatologist who prescribed me an ointment - salicylix and a liquid which was to be applied on the location - salactin. Sir, it all started 2 months ago. I was having slight itching in my groin area. I didn't know anything about Jock itch. So from then I started to be more hygienic. But after 2 weeks there was no change and rashes appeared and itching became worse. So I used Zole F antifungal cream .but still there was no drastic changes. Last week I bought a Candid Cream (Antifungal). But I think it started to work after 2 days. Now there is no worse itching. Rashes is healing. So I am afraid if I want to continue this cream for my lifetime? Please help.

If it has healed then stop using I do not understand why you want to use it for lifetime I do not understand if it do not show resuts I would recommend highstrength salicylic acid creams such as ring cutter salicylix etc.

yes.. however treatment depends on the grade...Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Topical applications hardly absorbed and usually have no systemic adverse effects. You can safely use the medications. It won't affect your breast feeding.
