Moulded face mask is manufactured from non-toxic medical grade PVC.

2 days old neonate on oxygen in special ICU for neonates-please trust your doctor, be patient and it may take time to recover from condition like premature birth ( most common condition for a neonate in ICU given feeds by tube, oxygen by mask & keeping the body warm in incubator)chest is normal & heart sounds are normal. trust your doctor. My dad has suffered from covid 15 days prior and now due to low oxygen he is on ventilator from past 8 days and rest of his organs are perfect no bp no sugar and his oxygen rate is 95 which is being given from oxygen mask .please suggest me how many days he will take to recover and how much days he need to be on ventilator.

hello lybrate user, many patients suffering from covid may require oxygen support for few days to weeks, it depends on the severity of lung damage and recovery. pls be please be patient and hope for the best. take care.

My father was diagnosed with covid on 29 april. He had fever for first few days and later he had cough which led to his oxygen to drop below 85. He is in hospital right now on oxygen but shows no covid symptoms. He does not have any previous medical problem. He eats right, does��t drink or smoke. He has been on oxygen since last 10 days. His oxygen has not been improving since. He gets around 90-94 oxygen when he is on oxygen mask but when he removes his oxygen mask it drops to 86-89. What should he do to improve this? Doctors tell us to wait for few more days as it takes time to oxygen level to rise but its already been 16 days. I��m really worried now. Please help us. Thank you.

Keep following the treating doctors, as he is in hospital he is under best management. It takes time for lunga to heal.

Hello lybrate-user ji as your father is admitted in the hospital, he must be getting all the required treatment, you don't need to worry about it. Yes some people do take time to respond to oxygen therapy, but with oxygen his saturation is remaining stable around 92-24 then you don't have to worry. Take care.

I am 65 year old and have oxygen less than 80%. Both my lungs are damaged, only one lung functions around 25 to 30%. What medication and remedy is advisable to recoup the lungs for normal breathing. I Have to be always on Oxygen mask. Any small walk to bathroom also leads to heavy breathing problems.
