It forms a layer of oil on the skin to prevent the moisture from escaping. It also accelerates shedding of dead skin cells and leaves the skin smooth and soft.

Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. To exfoliate your skin, mix two teaspoons each of lemon juice and sugar.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. You should not worry much about all these. The lubrication is intended to used for a short term at your age. I don't see you have a permanent lubrication problem. You can use ky jelly wihout worrying about long term effects because for you, you're going to use it for a short period. Take care.
The skin on your face tends to be more delicate. In certain conditions, glycerin can dehydrate the skin, so consider diluting it with water or another agent. If after applying glycerin to your skin, you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, such as itchiness or redness, stop using the product immediately.
