Information about Glutouch Blood Glucose Test Strip

Glutouch Blood Glucose Test Strip is designed for use with a Glutouch meter. The strips are designed for self-testing your blood glucose. Such a strip can operate with a minimal blood sample. It can take about 0.6 L capillary blood to keep it from being too invasive. The strip can be used on the fingertip or palm as well as from other sites where blood may be taken. The test strip will also be protected and fully sealed off with a proper sterilized packet to ensure that the strip will be fully protected before the strip is to be used.

My mom has done blood sugar test so I want to know she is having or not fasting blood sugar 74 and post lunch blood sugar 126 so I want to know she is having or not.

Criteria for diagnosis of Diabetes: 1. HbA1c ?6.5%. 2. Hyperglycemic crisis + random plasma glucose ?200 mg/dL (11.1 mmol/L) or 3. Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) ?126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L) or 2-hour postprandial plasma glucose ?200 mg/dL (11.1 mmol/L) after a 75-g glucose load after overnight fast of at least 8 hours. So she doesn't have Diabetes.

How long are you a diabetic? HbA1c is more relatable to your diabetes than fbs or ppbs as it gives a 3 month average percentage. If you have uncontrolled diabetes for more than 5 years get a diabetic profile which can include the following: fbs, ppbs, hba1c, lipid profiling, b12, ECG, renal function tests, urine microalbuminuria, urine analysis. Opthalmology and Podiatrist consultation may also be required to rule out onset of retinopathy and neuropathy A good diet plan that is plant based and fitness or yoga regime will help you.

Nothing to worry much.Your fasting blood sugar is marginally high. Try to avoid weight gain. Avoid eating excess sweets. Exercise regularly. Monitor blood sugar.
