EUPHRASIA OFFICINALIS MOTHER TINCTURE

Euphrasia rightly known as Eyebright is extremely helpful in most eye affections. It helps in curing inflammatory conditions of eyes, nose, and prostate. It helps in following conditions:

Eyes

Conjunctivitis, with continuous watering from the eyes all day
Discharge from eyes is so acidic that it peels off the skin
Intense burning, redness, swelling and drooping (ptosis) of eyelids
Sticky, thick mucus in the eyes. Patient must blink eyes repeatedly to clear the sticky mucus
Blisters on cornea

Head

Bursting headache with acidic tears and heavy, watery discharge from nose
Vertigo when rising. Heavy head. Brain feels loose and as if struck against skull on walking or rising
Headache in occiput, painful to touch
Humid eruptions on scalp; itching greatly

Female

Periods are painful with flow lasting only for an hour or a day
Swelling, with intense itching of vulva.
Pelvic articulations stiff when beginning to move.
Menses early, profuse, and prolonged, acrid.
Lochia thin, protracted, offensive diminished with shooting upwards in vagina

Throat

Difficulty in clearing throat, coughing only during the daytime with lot of discharge from eyes

Male

Spasmodic retraction of genitals, with pressure above pubic bone.
Condyloma and sycotic excrescences.
Prostatitis.
Nocturnal irritability of bladder; dribbling urine

Dose: 15 drops of Euphrasia mother tincture in half a cup of normal water twice each day for 3 months unless otherwise prescribed by the physician. Can be taken along with allopathic medicines.

Precautions

Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
