You apply Acnemoist cream twice in a day on cheeks and Chaptex cream (Intas) thrice daily on lip for one month.

I live in Bangalore where its not too cold still I have cracks and dried lips. My lips became so sensitive that even if I apply lip balms, top skin dries up and peels of by end of day and then super soft sensitive skin is exposed. Some times, I remove the dry skin accidentally, then wound is created on lips (specially lower) and blood comes. What lip balm I should overnight so that I can have nourished, soft lip for whole day. In day time, I use Chaptex which works only for 1-2 hour. Also, My upper lip is getting dark. Suggest something which can restore the pink tone of my lips.

In addition to Jeevanthyadi yamakam , try using panchgavya ghrita 1 tsf at bed time with lukewarm water and also apply it locally 3-4 times a day.

Hello sir/madam myself sriram age 22 I consulted a doctor in april 2nd week for the reason- my lips are turning red in colour they suggested me medicines named zivinix hc capsules, belsonate cream for mrng and pacroma cream for night I used them them for 45 days but results are not up to the mark I got good results in the begging later I didn't got now I consulted another 2 doctors they also prescribed the pacroma cream and zivinix hc capsules but one prescribed sebamed lip defence spf 30 and other prescribed cobadex lip care cream spf 30 my question is can I use sebamed lip defence spf 30 or chaptex lip care cream spf 30? Plszz kindly suggest me which to use.

Hi! lip redness can be due to multiple reasons. It can be early sign of nutritional deficiency, hormonal changes, early vitiligo or can be idiopathic (without any reason )also. Please send the photographs if possible for better assessment. Continue sebamed, pacroma and zivinix hc for some more time. Usually all skin and hair issues takes little more time to see positive result.

Hi lybrate-user, I would recommend you to use rose petals for that, soak some rose petals in milk for 15 min after that take out the petals and add some drops of honey and glycerine to in it. Make it a paste apply on your lips. Leave it at least for 20 min. OR and you could also use pomegranates seeds and milk for that. Put some musters oil to the umbilicus, do it on daily bases. Stop smoking. Drink plenty of water. Also watch your are taking a healthy diet. Take proper sleep of 6 to 8 hours. And do some facial exercise daily. Being a homoeopath,I will suggest you a natural way to glow your lips along with a lip balm. Lemon, Sugar Lip Scrub: In a small bowl, mix in 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and coconut oil. Add in and stir thoroughly 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar, a bit at a time to make thick paste of uniform consistency. If needed, you can add in more sugar. After mixing it well, you can transfer the scrub into a suitable storage container. It can be safely kept in fridge for about one week.Apply a little bit of the scrub to your lips, and scrub it in circular motion. To effectively exfoliate your lips, use a small toothbrush. Rinse your lips with warm water, and apply a LIP balm( BAKSON) on your choice.
