MERCURIUS VIVUS DILUTIONS
Mercurius Vivus is made from the element Mercury. It is used in acute conditions especially of the skin and mucus membrane where there is pus formation.

Skin

There is inflammation of the bones with pain in the night
Skin looks very dirty rough and dry
There is ulceration with bleeding
Itching with burning especially after scratching
Foul smell of the discharges
Herpes type of eruptions which are burning in characteristic
Pus formation of the ulcers
Marked Syphilitic lesions.

General

Used also when there is inflammation of the Glands
Tremors
Weakness from least exertion
Also used in Intermittent Fever with chilliness
All symptoms are worse in the night and during perspiration

Dose- As prescribed by physician. Can be taken along with allopathic medicines.

Precautions

Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
