As the name Hahnemanns tincture acris sine Kali suggests, preparation of Causticum is very peculiar to homoeopathy and should be prepared as per Hahnemanns guidelines. It is prepared by blending slaked lime and sulfate of potash and used in various weakness and paralytic conditions.

Suited for compassionate and sympathetic people who cry at very small things.

Complaints begin after any grief or sudden emotional disturbances. Thinking of the complaints worsens it.

Complaints increase when the weather is clear and are better in damp season.

Given for all sorts of paralysis and weakness. Paralysis on right side of face.

Eyelids are swollen, drooping of eyelids, sees things like there is a thin film in front of it. Eye muscles get paralyzed after they have been exposed to cold .
Pimples and warts seen on nose, voice is hoarse, coughing with pain in hip joints, which is better by taking cold water.
Excellent results for the paralysis of left side of body, sciatica, numbness and weakness in hands.

Dose- 15 drops of Causticum mother tincture in half a cup of normal water twice each day for 3 months, unless otherwise prescribed by physician. Can be taken along with other allopathic medicines.

Precautions

Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
